Common Acronyms

  • LOL: Laughing Out Loud.
  • BTW: By The Way.
  • IDK: I Don't Know.
  • IMO: In My Opinion.
  • OMW: On My Way.

Texting Tone

Recuerda que el texto no tiene tono de voz. Un punto al final de una oración corta puede sonar agresivo en algunos contextos:

  • Neutral: "Coming now"
  • Could sound angry: "Coming now."
  • Friendly: "Coming now! 😊"

The Etiquette of "Read" (Dejado en visto)

Si ves un mensaje pero no puedes responder, a veces es mejor enviar un "Busy, will reply later!" que dejar el silencio por horas.

Recuerda: Never post anything on social media that you wouldn't want your mother (or boss) to see.
